Polly Miller was my husband’s great aunt and I met her on only a few occasions. Earlier, she always struck me as quite an adventurous person, always traveling and very independent. I really admired her and hoped that I would be like her someday. The last time I saw her, she was more dependent and it was obvious that that was not the life she would have chosen. Her sister, Hazel, is my husband’s grandmother and still lives at the same rest home at which Polly lived and she is also an inspiration to all – so alert and active. I think the country upbringing has contributed greatly to the vitality and longevity of these two wonderful ladies. Polly, we will always miss you and Bee-Bee (Hazel) we cherish every moment you are with us. She will celebrate her 97th birthday on 11/11/05!!
We are volunteers at Fleshers. We spent many wonderful hours with Pauline playing bingo. Thank you for sharing her with us. She was a wonderful lady.
To the Miller Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Pauline will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
God Bless You,

Ed Miller and Family and Friends,
Our sympathy to all of Polly’s family & friends. Though we did not know Polly personnally, the times we have visited Ed & Shirley Miller in Texas, while visiting our son Douglas and his wife Diana & grandson Frederick, Ed had mentioned highly of her. She will be missed by him.

MY MOTHER, ELVA LANNING, THOUGHT OF POLLY AS ONE OF HER DEAREST FRIENDS. THEY WORKED TOGETHER IN THE LAB AT AMERICAN ENKA. MOTHER STILL HAS SOME OF THE SWEATERS AND PONCHOS THAT POLLY KNITTED FOR HER. WHEN MOTHER AND I WOULD VISIT POLLY SEVERAL YEARS AGO, WE ALWAYS HAD SUCH FUN. POLLY HAS SUCH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. WE WILL NEVER FORGET HER SMILE. MOTHER IS NOT ABLE TO GET AROUND TOO WELL AND WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND VISITATION AND THE SERVICE, BUT OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY.
