    Dr. and Mrs. James Johnson,
Pastor Emeritus, West Asheville Baptist Church

  21. Glenn and family,
Paula and I have you in our prayers as you celebrate the life of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I was reading about Pauline just this morning in Proverbs 31 where she was described in so many ways that fit her life and what she meant to others–‘more precious than jewels’. We gain comfort in knowing Pauline is no longer bound by the discomforts of this life and is now receiving her just reward at the feet of Jesus in heaven. We love you and your family and hope to see you one of these days soon!!

  22. Mr. Wilcox & family,
We’re so sorry to hear of your loss; Prayers for you all
    during this difficult time.
    With love,
    Jim & Marsha Furness

  29. Dear Mr. WIlcox and family, I did not know Mrs. Wilcox, but I want to thank you all for indicating in her obituary that she passed away from Alzheimer’s Disease. Too often that is not mentioned, and the world needs people with your strength to do so. Then we’ll know how much we need to work to end Alzheimer’s. I will be thinking of Mrs Wilcox, along with my father and my mother, when i participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Asheville this September.
    My condolences for your loss.

  30. Prayers go out to all of the Wilcox family during this time of sadness. This family was very supportive of me during my youth at First Baptist. I remember Pauline giving me a ride home from church on more than one occasion.
    With Love and admiration
    David Koll

  31. Glenn, Wallace, Sharon, Marie, William, David and whole family, I heard of Mrs. Wilcox passing while on a mission trip in Cuba. I continued the trip dedicating my witness and devotion in her name along with Christ.
She was special to me. I’m sorry she was sick for so long. I’m sure you know she’s in God’s hands now just as she was here on earth. May God continue to bless you with precious memories on her life as wife and mother/grandmother. God bless…

  32. Marie and family,
You have been in my thoughts and prayers over the last few days. God bless you and your family as you move forward, remembering your Mom and all the lives she touched with her love and generosity.
    Love, Kaye Allen
