Pauline W. Birchfield

April 16, 1913 ~ February 10, 1998

Pauline Williams Birchfield, 84, of 129 Emmas Grove Road, Fletcher, died Tuesday, February 10, 1999, in Memorial Mission Hospital.

Mrs. Birchfield was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Columbus A. and Maggie Trantham Williams. She was married to Earl P. Birchfield, who died September 28, 1995, and she attended Hoopers Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, The Rev. Donald Earl and Dianna Birchfield, and two grandchicldren, Karen and Eric Birchfield.

Funeral services were at 2:00 pm Friday, February 13, 1998, at Hoopers Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Lawrence Rhodes, Clarence Bishop, and Roland Whitaker officiating. Burial was in Emmas Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Her family received friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Thursday at the church.
