Pearl Wells Ingle

Mrs. Ingle was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Commodore and Addie Israel Wells. She was married to Curtis Willam Ingle who died in 1994. She was formerly employed at Gorham Silver Co. and was retired from Gerbers. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and attended Leicester Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sisters, Maude Sharpe of Leicester, Mae Freeman and her husband Charlie of Leicester, and Edna Ditter of Sanford; two brothers, James Wells of Leicester and Russell Wells and his wife Argylle of Leicester; several nieces and nephews including special caregivers, Helen Jo Riddle and Conley Freeman, and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Monday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Revs. Jake Fender and Bill Gillespie officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Patton, Ricky Ledbetter, David Sharpe, Joe Stevens, Mack Brooks, Alan Hawkins, Weaver Wells, and Charles Teague.
Mrs. Ingle’s family wishes to express appreciation to Mountain Area Hospice, family, and community and church friends and neighbors for their recent help.
Her family will receive friends from 7- 8:30 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue where Mrs. Ingle will remain until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
pearl was one of the sweetest ladies i knew. we all know that she is happy in heaven with her husbannd the lord. may god bless you and supply your needs as a family. my prayers are with you.
