Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Mr. West, Mark, and Carolyn — We just wanted you to know how much we are thinking of you during this very difficult time. Our love goes out to you. I personally have such fond memories of Mrs. West as a fun-loving, cheerful person. And when I think of Calvary Church I picture Peggy in the church office keeping things running smoothly! And I picture Mr. and Mrs. West on Sunday mornings running the library. I think I went in every Sunday morning just so I’d be late for Sunday School!

Cathy, Jeff, Weston, Will, and Natalie – Please know we are thinking of each of you, too, in the loss of your mother-in-law and grandmother.

    God bless each of you.

    Love,
    David, Suzanne, and Hunter

  2. We love you and are thinking of you! I remember Peggy as a special lady – full of love and joy – and so proud of her special children and grandchildren!

I remember one of Weston’s birthday parties, when Will was just a baby. The party was at the West’s house (I think) and Peggy just glowed with two wonderful grandsons to love and enjoy. And Natalie added to her joy a few years later.

Peggy was blessed with a loving husband, brilliant son and daughter, and grandchildren, too! She knew you all loved her and your care for her has reflected that love to all who know you.

My love for libraries (especially church libraries) started at Calvary…so Peggy and Max’s work at Calvary has spread to the church library at Mt. Zion in Hudson! I hope our selection of books and materials touches lives like the Calvary library touched mine!

Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We love you!

  3. Max,David, Carolyn & Family,

Our love and prayers are with you all. Peggy was a sweet and special lady. We have fond memories of your family and Peggy in the library at Calvary. May you feel God’s presence near you during the coming days. We Celebrate the home going of your loved one knowing that we will all meet again
in Heaven. May God bless and comfort you.

  4. Max, Carolyn, and Mark,

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Peggy. I am praying for all of you. . I have great memories of us kids playing at Mama Cree’s when we were little while the adults visited in the kitchen. I remember her sweet laugh. We love you.

  5. To all of the West family,
I remember working with Peggy at Sand Hill back in 1976-1978. I remember her sweet smile and her humor. Little did I know that a few years later her daughter would be marrying my cousin. We were so blessed to have Carolyn join our family. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.

    Love,
    Mike and Sandy

  6. To her husband Max and Family:
Reading this in the newspaper was a great shock to me. Even though I no longer get to attend regularly at Calvary Baptist Church I still like to keep up as best I can with news from our church. This is a loss to me as well as the other members and I can assure you that we all will miss her.

  7. Max, Carolyn & Mark,
I am so sad to hear of your loss. I know our savior will be your comfort and strength. My sweet Aunt Peggy….always smiling….always kind….always like Jesus..I love you all and think of you much.

  8. Bob and I are remebering you in prayer for Peggy’s death. Lots of memories over the years as our kids were in school together, and played in the neighborhood, particularly on snow days sliding on Morse Drive. Peggy’s interest in church libraries was important to her church and as a fellow church librarian to me. Our thoughts are with all of you. Cathryn and Bob Kinser

Our thoughts and prayers are with you so very much during this sad time of losing a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. The funeral yesterday was very special and was a real tribute to Peggy from those she loved.

Peggy was a dear person to us and to all who knew her. She was always kind, considerate, and was a dedicated and committed Christian. We were privileged to have Carolyn in our family too and to share three wonderful grandchildren with Max and Peggy.

    We will all miss her!
