Phillip Lee Brown, 71, died Monday, December 5, 2022.

Phillip was born January 5, 1951, in Spartanburg to the late James Lee and Marian Elizabeth Campbell Brown. He had lived in Buncombe County for most of his life and served our country in the US Air Force. He was a former anesthesiology tech at the VA Medical Center and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Black Mountain.

He is survived by his daughter, Whitney Brown; his wife Jacalyn Brown, a sister, Karen Brown Pasour (Tim); and a brother, Clay Brown (Deanna).

A funeral service with Air Force Honors will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel with the Revs. Brent Bolick and Doug Campbell officiating.
