Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Oh my heart is so sad. I loved Phyllis so much. We only knew each other a few years but during that time we became good friends. We shared a lot of special times and conversations and memories of our families. What a great lady! She was always so “in the know” about things and I cherish those times with her. Going to the beauty shop and out to lunch and watching the “soaps” in the afternoons. So very thankful that she was a special part of my life. Glad we were able to celebrate her birthday together in November. You will be missed my friend. Kimberly ~ you were a great caregiver and niece to her. Much love to you, David, and your family. She would not want us to be sad! Phyllis Jamison

  2. Kimmy & family, I’m so sorry to hear about your aunt Phyllis. Phyllis Jamison always talked so highly of her. She lived a good, long life. Much love to all of you. Love you sis!

  3. Dear Kimberly,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family as you mourn the loss of your precious Phyllis. She is loved and her memory will be treasured by all the Abernethy UMC family. Her sweet spirit and kindness showed me the love of Jesus, and I am thankful to have become acquainted with her.

  4. My prayers are with the family at this time of loss. Phyllis was my next door neighbor growing up on Brevard Road in West Asheville.
I remember her fondly. Such a sweet and kind person. I know she will be missed by her family and church friends.

    • Thank you Susan. She was always fond of you. I remember your sweet family from my childhood visits to Brevard Road.

  5. Phyllis and Howard were the first couple I met when I moved to St. Johns Commons 17 years ago. They were so friendly and kind. They lived two doors from me. I retired from the American Red Cross and Howard was a volunteer there, so we had mutual friends. Phyllis will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  6. Phyllis was our next door neighbor when she was married to Mr. Bowen. I have fond memories of the Himes and Bowens. She was a sweet and gracious lady. Last time I saw her was at her wedding to Mr. Reynolds she was lovely❤️
