Rachel Ruth Hawkins Warren, 72, of Fox Hill Drive, Candler, died on Friday, November 20, 2009, at Mission Hospitals.
A native of Buncombe Co., Mrs. Warren was the daughter of the late William Winfred and Nola Duckett Hawkins.
Mrs. Warren had worked at American Enka. She was a former member of Oak Hill UMC, and was a current member of Pleasant Hill UMC.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Warren; daughter, Stephanie Whitener and companion Jim Martin, of Candler; brothers, William, Ronald, and Albert Hawkins, all of Candler; grandchildren, Katherine Parker McElreath and husband John, (and one soon-to-be great-grandson) and Jasmine and Brittany Whitener.
A memorial service for Mrs. Warren will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.

I have known Rachelle for many yrs she was a dear friend and although I havent seen her in a couple yrs we kept in touch via e-mail I pray for all the family that they will have peace knowing she is in a better place GOD BLESS from ALL THE warren in Georgia
