Guestbook

  1. Ralph was a good man and a friend of mine. We worked together in Cleveland county and were in the same class at patrol school. RIP Ralph.

  2. My condolences to his family. I haven’t seen Ralph in years. Patrolman Gantt was one of the officers that helped me to slow my driving and taught me to stop at stop signs. As years passed me would meet in passing at the Pancake House round table and I got to know him as Ralph. He was a great officer and a wonderful man. I am thankful for his presence in my life. Rest in Peace with Christ.

  3. Peggy and Marie I’m so sorry to hear this about Ralph. You are in my prayers. Love, your cousin Janice

  4. First time I met Ralph was in 1985 in my patrol school driving course. We were in a 1983 Ford and he told me “Jackson ,put it in drive, hold the gas to the floor, and don’t take your foot off until I say so.” I replied “Yes Sir.” We were training in Maxton at an old Airport. He had his cigar in his mouth and he was chewing on it. So hear we go down the runway at 100+ mph and we’re coming up on the end of the runway. He said “Jackson, what do think’s gonna happen here in a minute.” My reply was “I don’t no sir ,but it’s going to be a hell of crash. He smiled and said you can take your foot off that pedal if you want too.😝😝. He was my friend and mentor. RIP Ralph I’ll see you again one day.

  6. Ralph is going to be missed so much, but I know heaven is going to be so much sweeter with him there. He was so very special to me and my partner in crime. We always had such a great time when we was together, cutting up and giving each other a hard time. I am just so honored and blessed that I got the opportunity to meet him and be a part of his life. I will miss you so much but I will treasure all the fun times and special memories that we made together. I love you my sweet Ralphy❤️
    Love your, Stephy

  7. I am so sad to read of my long ago friend, Ralph Gantt. He was truly one of a kind. His character and demeanor and humor could not be denied. It’s been a long time since I was in his presence, but, I never forgot him and many others that were in our circle of friends back in the day. He will be missed by many. His service to his fellow officers and his community were selfless. Family and friends you are in my thoughts and prayers now and in the days to come. Cherish family and friends in life as we move on toward our final resting place. Rest easy my dear friend, Mr. Gantt, as I always would say. I’ll see you later.

  8. My prayers go out to all family and Brothers and Sisters in blue. And friends God Bless all of you with peace, comfort during this time.

  9. Ralph was my neighbor and he was very friendly and nice and always took time to say hello i
