Ralph Paul Lodato

Ralph Paul Lodato, 96, of Riceville Rd., Asheville, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at The Laurels of Summit Ridge. A native of Lawrence, MA, he was a son of the late Guiseppi and Anastina Fazzi Lodato. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Elizabeth Rohleder Lodato. Mr. Lodato is survived by a son, Paul Lodato and wife Susan of Swannano; and niece Donna Balewitz and husband Mike of Pottersville, MO. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013, at St. Marks Lutheran Church, with Vicar Christina Auch officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens of First Presbyterian Church of Springfield, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CarePartners Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813. Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Rd. is assisting the family.
