Randall "Randy" Clark Pressley, Sr., 65, of Fairview, died Monday, November 2, 2015, at Mission Hospital.
A native of McDowell Co., he was a son of the late Douglas and Marjorie McGaha Pressley.
Surviving are his children, Sharon Lynn Blackwell and husband Chris of Marion, and Randall Clark Pressley, Jr. and wife Pam, of Fairview; his life partner, Judith Griffiths of Fairview; brothers Richard Pressley of Weaverville and Stuart A. Pressley of Asheville; grandchildren, Tabitha Hensley, Daryl Hensley and wife Racquel, Katherine Pressley, and Kristina Pressley; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Rd. The family will receive friends following the service.

My thoughts and prayers are extended to all. I enjoyed Randy’s company, working with him at The Grove Park Inn. Love to all.
My sympathy goes out to the family. I worked with Randy for several years at Grove Park Inn.
My condolences to Randy’s family. He’s been a friend since the 70s and our family is feeling the loss of this great man. Be comforted by the many fond memories that will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. And know you’re in our prayers.

I am shocked after hearing of a good friend and co-worker passing, Randy was a wealth of information on a lot of different things, but enjoyed joking around just as much.. He will be missed a lot ..by everyone and Judith along with his family I am so sorry and you all are in my prayers, hopefully your faith can make it easier to get through this, may God bless you all..
