Randall Light

February 13, 1962 ~ November 22, 1999
A native of Greenville, SC, he was a son of Lavinia Phillips Light of Asheville and of the late Bill N. Light. He was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Jack Light in 1983. He was an employee of Phil’s Paint Service.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jacqualine Buckner Light; two sons, Michael Light and Randall Light, Jr. of the home; a sister, Melodie Clarke; three brothers, Chuck Light, Denny O’Kelly and Dale O’Kelly and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Hazel Phillips.
Services will be 11 am Wednesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue conducted by the Revs. Jamie Rogers and Vince Keith.
Burial will be in the McMahan Family Cemetery in the Pensacola Community.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Daddy I know it’s been almost 8 years since you past but it still feels like a dream and I still wake up every sunday hope to see you pull in driveing the brown van but i know you not for i wish you would cause the last thing you said to me is love you son see you sunday.. i’ll never forget those words i love dad and will see u one day i hope you still watch over me love you son buzz u was a #1 dad in my book i know you talk to yazmine sometimes and i’m glad you do… ILOVE AND MISS YOU EVERY DAY DAD i’ll come see you at the grave soon and put flowers on it i promise… R.I.P dady
