Reba Louise Benson

Reba Louise Benson, 87, of 8 Stewart Street, Asheville, died Saturday, August 3, 2002, at her home. Miss Benson was born in Wilmington and was a daughter of the late William L. and Augusta Casteen Benson. From 1943 until her retirement in 1965 she was employed with the US Government Regional Government Accounting Office originally at the Grove Arcade and later in St. Louis, MO. She is survived by step-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard, Fletcher, with the Rev. William W. Whisenhunt officiating. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.
