Rebecca Mae G. Morgan

A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Betty Morgan, 96, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Fleshers of Fairview. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late James and Mattie Garren. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband James Arnold Morgan and son James Carroll Morgan, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann (Lynn) Wells, granddaughters Rebecca (Charles) Teseneer, Shari (William) Brown, great-granddaughters, Rachel Teseneer, Victoria and Kristen Brown. Betty retired from Mission and St. Joseph Hospitals as a dining room supervisor. Betty was a long time member of Arden Presbyterian Church. A memorial service for Betty will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with the Rev. Ken Crabb officiating. There will be a time of visitation immediately after the service.
