  7. To the family,
We were deeply saddened to read of Mr. Black’s passing. I knew Mr. Black for over thirty years and he was always one of the kindest, nicest men I ever knew. He and my Father worked together in Charleston for many years for the same company.
May the Lord be with all of you in these difficult times.

  9. Aileen,
Nancy and I want to assure of our prayers and love. Although we have not been privileged to spend time with you over the past year or so, we do appreciate your friendship. While we are saddened by his homegoing, we are encouraged by our confident hope in the resurrected Lord that, for His children, the best is always ahead. May the peace of God that ‘passes understanding’ be yours. God bless!

  11. We were so sorry to learn of Reeves death. May God be with you during this time of sorrow.

  12. Aileen, I am saddened to the ‘core’ to hear of your husband’s death. After learning about it today (Wednesday) my mind turned to one of the hymns we are singing this week in BSF – ‘Blessed Assurance– Jesus is mine –O what a foretaste of Glory Divine…’ Thank you, Lord, that we have that assurance. I will be praying for you tonight, tomorrow, and in the days to come that God will wrap a canopy (Isaiah 4: 5 – 6) of His presence around you and that you will know the ‘refuge and shelter’ that comes from Him alone.

  13. Mrs. Black & family—We were so sorry to hear of Mr. Black’s passing. We are parents of Bryan Sifford who works at Wachovia. He and David have been frindes for several years. We have enjoyed David’s friendship as well. Our prayers have been with the family–even though we’ve been slow in signing the guestbook. We hope you are getting lots of emotional support right now from your sons, other family members and friends. God bless! Wyndell & Mary Ann

  14. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of grief, Reeves will sure be missed by all. Love in Christ, Louise Garrett Teague
