Regenia Wilkey Vance, 83, of Candler, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at StoneCreek Health and Rehabilitation. A native of Buncombe Co., Regenia was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Hallie Arrington Wilkey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grover "Dickey" Vance, and by her brother, Donnie Wilkey. Mrs. Vance was a member of Enka Baptist Church. Mrs. Vance is survived by her daughters, Donna Vance Godwin (David) and Richelle Vance Pike; grandchildren, Teah Godwin, Aaron Pike, Brent Godwin, and Hallie Pike; and great-grandchildren, Alexis Godwin, Annelise Pike, and Emilaina Pike. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave., with the Rev. Ron Brown officiating. Entombment will follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
