Reva Carol Anderson, 42, of Fletcher, was called Home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 after an extended illness.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of Maggie Franklin Buchanan of Fletcher and of the late Kenneth Anderson. She was also preceded in death by three nieces.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one sister, Teena Anderson and her fiancé, Leon Bryson, of Tallahassee, FL; two brothers, Ronnie Anderson and his wife, Janice, of Fletcher and Perry Anderson and his wife Jodi, of Fletcher; two nieces, Brooke Hollifield and her husband, Nathan and Aubrey Bryson; ten nephews, Jared Anderson and his wife, Halie, Shane Anderson and his wife, Denise, Brandon Anderson and his wife, Emily, Joe Browning and his wife, Amanda, Josh Browning, Jacob Maxwell and his fiancée, Kelsey Peeler, Austin Maxwell and his wife, Meghan, Seth Bryson, Matt Bryson and Keagan Bryson; three great-nieces, Sydney and Addison Hollifield and Madelyn Anderson; two great nephews, Sheldon and Mason Anderson; one uncle, Wayne Franklin; one great-aunt, Virginia Waycaster, as well as many more family, friends, caregivers and church family.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Words of Life Cemetery with Pastor Carl Bishop officiating. A visitation will immediately follow the service at Words of Life Tabernacle.
The family graciously asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to one's local Special Olympics program (www.specialolympics.org).
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
Reva’s sweet smile will forever stay in my heart and mind. My prayers abundantly flowing for the family and friends who love her so much.
