Reva Warren Smith, 81, of Beaverdam Loop Rd., died Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Mission Hospital.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Ulus and Malissie Brown Warren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Olen Joseph Smith, who died December 2, 1971.
Mrs. Smith worked as an assembler at KinCo. She was a member of Brown's View United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Reda Smith and husband Roy, of Asheville; son Jerry Smith of Candler; grandchildren Kristy Smith, Jason Smith and wife Becca, and Jeremy Smith and wife Krystal; great-grandchildren Kassi, Meghan, Destini, Sydni, and Colby Smith; great-great grandchildren Ayden Friedman, Izaiah Smith-Sheridan, Rivers Smith, Quinlan Smith, and Zephyr Smith; and brother Virgil Warren of Candler.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Brown's View United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Ellwood H. Wiggins, Ed Worley, and Jeffrey McPeters officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
