  1. Mr & Mrs. Ingle, Sophie, Sara, & family.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Words will never express, the love and admiration I had for Allan. Allan was always there for me with a kind word, smile and crack a joke just when I needed it. I went all through school with Allan and always looked up to him. He was always an inspiration to me and after his diagnosis, we had long talks and he became an even more inspiration. He was a true Warrior. I rejoice in the fact that we will see him again and that he has a brand new body free from pain and walking the streets of gold and sitting at the right hand of God. May God hold you all close and give you strength in the days, months, and years to follow. I’m praying for you all.

With much love & many hugs,
    Mikki

  2. Rex, Barbara, Kevin, Sara and Sophie,

We write this with a very heavy heart today as we mourn the loss of one of our best friends. While we didn’t see each other often enough, we were always able to pick right up where we last left off; because that’s what true friendships can do. No matter what any of us were going through, we always knew that there was a comforting, supportive, caring person just a phone call away. While we mourn the loss of our friend, we celebrate the wonderful times we shared. Even as we neared the end of our time together, a time cut so unfairly short, we were all able to laugh, cry and show how much we loved one another. Our lives are better for having known Allan and we can only hope that he felt the same. We will miss that enormous smile and cutting humor but those are the memories we will hold closest in our hearts. Til we meet again…we love you my brother.

  3. We are so very sorry that you have lost Alan. We have prayed our hearts out for you while he was sick. He had the most beautiful smile. I’ll never forget how he helped Jill and me in the snow. Love you all so very much. Our prayers are always with you. Love you all more than you know.

  4. Dear Rex, Barbara, Sophie, Sara, Kevin and family,

  7. Dear family,

I am saddened by the grief that you are feeling.
Knowing of God’s love for you, continue looking to him when ” He will wipe all tears from our eyes, death, pain, and suffering will be no more. ” – Revelation 21:3,4
He says death is an ” enemy that will be brought to nothing. ” – 1 Corinthians 15:26
It comforts our hearts to know this pain will be a thing of the past and through Christ a resurrection for our loved ones.

  12. Aloha Rex, Barbara, Kevin, Sophie and Sara!

We are so sorry to hear about Allan’s passing. Allan was one of my best friends and colleagues for over 20 years. Our friendship began in year 2000 when Allan joined eWorldES as a systems analyst to build Hawaii Department of Human Services’ HANA System (case management system for public assistance). Allan was kind and loving human being with a huge smile, sharp wit and intellect. He was instrumental in building the financial modules of Hawaii DHS’ HANA system which is still going strong 22 years later. I had the pleasure of visiting Allan for two days on 26th and 27th September, 2022. We had a great time chatting about life, our fun times together, and professional disagreements (fights). He still had a huge will and courage to fight. I will never forget his last words to me as we parted: “I love you brother. It is not over yet. Thanks for visiting me.” And, he gave me a big hug and said “Aloha”. Allan, Mahalo nui loa (sincere gratitude) for being in my life and helping me become a better person. Thank you for your service to our great country. You will be dearly missed. Cheers. RIP.

  21. Mr. & Mrs. Ingle & Family,

The pain has now shifted to you, Your heart is breaking for Allan’s departure and I pray that God give you the grace to carrying on Allan’s ministry because his writings in Allan’s Journey was truly and inspiration to many one of which was me. I went to school with Allan from West Buncombe to Graduation at Erwin. My husband had the pleasure of meeting Allan in middle school thru high school and as most of the kids during that time my parents went to school with you. I remember the courage and strength Allan showed when he had the braces on his legs and there were no elevators in the old West Buncombe buildings but he could sure beat some of us to reading on the 3rd floor. So his strength started at and early age, I never heard an unkind word come out of Allan’s mouth he was truly a nice, caring person. All these traits he carried all the way thru his journey. The last picture posted he had that smile that I remember the most about him. But this time that smile was different, God touched me so much readying Allan’s Journey and it showed me you never know what tomorrow may bring so you better be ready. You may not get the chance to write a journey such as Allan and show your love for GOD and give your testimony. My eyes were truly opened and I did realize I had failed in my life living for GOD and I needed to make things right with him and I did. I felt like you should know if it weren’t for Allan I don’t know if I could truly say I was headed to Heaven and since I didn’t get to than Allan for leading me back to God I want to thank you for having a son that truly loved the Lord and I know without a shadow of a doubt he’s rejoicing with him today. Yes today is a sad day but as you are having after the service a celebration of Allan’s life we can truly praise the Lord and say we will see him again one day very soon. Thank you Allan and God Bless you Mr & Mrs Ingle (and Family) and hold you in his loving comforting arms and continue to watch over you in your time of sorrow. We will continue to keep you in our prayers and as for you to do so for us.
    With Love in Christ,
Sonya Caldwell Robinson and Scott Robinson

  22. Dear Rex, Barbara, and Family,
I am truly sorry for your loss of Alan. He was a very good man, a very good father, and a very good friend. I will always cherish the moments he and spent together working through some difficult times in both of our lives. He was always there for me whenever I was in need because that was the type of person that he was, always willing to help out others. Alan and I had many numerous special times together when sharing various wonderful experiences with both of our families. For that, and all of the great times we spent together, I will be forever grateful. Alan will surely be missed.
Until we meet again my friend
    Todd
