R.G. "Gene" Stallings

R.G. "Gene" Stallings, 81, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 surrounded by his family at his residence. Gene was born in Labelle, Florida to the late Ernest and Nola McQuien Stallings. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Stallings and a sister, Helen Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret "Peggy" Stallings; a daughter, Beth Stallings of Asheville; two sons, Richard Stallings of Asheville and Andy Stallings and his wife, Jody, of Punta Gorda, Florida; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 25 Forest Lake Drive, Asheville, NC 28803 with Michael Henry officiating.
