We thought a lot of Dick an we love him. we were very fortunate to be able to be with him for so long.He will be miss by everyone.
Dick was a very unique individual and had is own way of opening his heart to people. He arranged for me to have personal bowling lessons with Pro Bowler George Pappas when I was 15 years old. He will be missed by many but is definitely going to a much better place.
I have played bridge and gone to a lot of bowling events with Dick. He will be missed by me and I am sure a lot of other people.
We miss you Dick. Thanks for being in our lives. You were such a big influence on us all. We will miss you forever. Good buy Poppa Dick.
Extremely intelligent person. I remember a column Bob Terrell wrote about the two of them going to the Kentucky Derby and Dick called someone on the way and got tickets. He knew everyone. I remember his keeping score for pot bowling games at Sky Lanes on Saturday nights. I can not remember whether it was 6 or 8 lanes and he never made a mistake. He was really one of a kind.
