  1. You were always the sweetest man to me, everything a brother-in-law would be. You always had a kind word and you were so very good to Janice, the best husband. Rest in peace sweet Gene. Heaven definitely has one more angel today……….

  2. I used to live at Asheville Terrace and met both Mr. and Mrs. Roberts before moving to Weaverville to live with my brother in a house we bought together but he is now deceased and I am back at Asheville Terrace. I am sorry and want to express my sympathy to the family.

  3. Gene and I grew up together and had a special bond that made us closer than most cousins. Our parents were twin sisters and twin brothers that married each other which made us more like brothers. As I moved to the west coast and unable to see Gene as much as I liked or permitted we still had that bond that could not be extinguished by our separation.
He was a unique person and a genuine human being. His family will always love and remember him.
I miss you cousin. Rest in peace
