  5. I really didn’t know Mr.Fox but I always got to say ‘hello’ to him on Saturday when he was coming in off his shift. He seemed to be a wonderful man, of which I regret to say I never really got to know! I just wanted you to know that my wife and I will be praying for you and may you draw strength from God during such a sad time. May God bless you and all your family.

  6. Our deepest heartfelt sympathy is extended to the family. I just thank the Lord that he was found as quickly as he was. As both of us being former drivers ourself, we know how easily these things can happen. We had already decided if he hadn’t been found by Sunday, we were going to go look with God as our guide, to find him, and bring closure to his family. May God comfort you during this heartbreaking time in your life. Our prayers are with you.

  7. I hope that you can all find comfort in the happy memories you share of Papaw Fox. Never forget the things he did to make you laugh or the special things you learned from him. He is now at peace and in a wonderful place. Love and Hugs to you all.

  12. Georgia,I don’t think you will remember me but my heart goes out to you as this will probably be one of the hardest thing you will ever have to go through. You’ll never be able to forget and you shouldn’t but time helps to heal all wounds.Always try to remember the good times and know someday you will be with Richard again. If I can ever do anything for you just have Billy give me a call.Once again I am so sorry for your loss. May GOD bless you and keep you close to Him.

  13. Dear Fox Family: I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Fox. You do not know me, but I have walked in your shoes recently. My husband, Martin David Fisher, JR.drove a flatbed and was killed in Burke Co. by a drunk driver several yrs. ago. He too, went down a ravine, with a load of 80thou lbs of flat steel and suffocated in 12 min, and was trapped inside his new Eagle for 10hrs before he could be freed. He was very much like Mr. Fox in his love for trucking. David’s company, US Trucking and Landstar had everyonelooking for Mr.Fox and send their condolences. Later, I would love to meet you or even hear from you via e-mail. Again, I am sorry and am thinking and praying for you. Dot Fisher

  14. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Blessings and peace, Betty Nelon Rhodes, formerly of Fairview

  15. To Georgia, James and all the Fox family
You all know that we are there whenever you need us. Our prayers and support are with everyone today, tomorrow and in the future. I know each of you have found peace with God’s plan but I also know how terribly you will miss Uncle Richard just as we will. His life was a testimony to God. May we all remember what a great legacy he left us with and hope that gives our lives another solid step to follow in God’s journey for us all.
    We love you all.

  18. Being friends of Paula & Daryl’s, I have heard ‘great memories’ of good times spent with Aunt Georgia and Uncle ‘Honey’. I pray that these memories will help to ease you thru this heartache and loss. I know from the recent death of my Dad that prayer, family and friends will help carry you when you feel like there is no way to take another step or face another day. Keep your faith in God and he will guide you. Know that you are in many people’s thoughts and prayers during this time but the main thing is that you are in God’s hands. I just read something this morning that stated that we can not choose how or when we die, but we can choose how we will live. That thought has helped me today and I hope that it will you, too. God bless you and your family.

  19. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Richard will be dearly missed. We all have fond memories of him growing up and of the kindness and caring he showed to our family through the years.

    God Bless

  20. To Aunt Georgia, James and the rest of my family. We are SO sorry that we cannot be there but please know that we are there in spirit. We loved Uncle Richard! He was there everytime we needed him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. I know he is in heaven with grandma, pa, Ronnie and Jayne. Kyle and Kameron loved coming home to play in Uncle Richard’s barn and with the horses. They loved him and will miss him terribly. I can hear him say ‘hello bud’ to them. I know he is happy and smiling in heaven. It was God’s plan and there isn’t anything we could have done to prevent it. May God bless and keep you. We love and miss you all~

  36. James, what does someone say at a time of such horrendous heartache? ‘We are sorry for your loss’ doesn’t even come close to the words we are trying to find to express our most deepest sympathy to you and your family. Dear friend, just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and we hope time will ease your pain and sadness.
