Ricky Lee Harwood

Ricky Lee Harwood, 57, of Greeneville, TN, died on Friday, August 8, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Harwood was born in Buncombe Co. and was a son of Audrey Hutchinson Harwood and the late Earl Harwood. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Craig Harwood. Mr. Harwood was a well respected, hard working man widely known in the construction community. He worked as a master carpenter and had owned Harwood Brothers, Inc., with Craig. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sherry Harwood; sisters, Rebecca Harwood Holmes and husband James, and Kimberly Harwood Williams and husband Donnie; and nieces and nephew, Raven, Sharlena, and Nathan. A graveside service for Mr. Harwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Holmes officiating. His family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
