Robbie Levi Ledford, 30, of 38 Clement Drive, Asheville, died at the home on March 1, 2009. A native of Buncombe Co., he was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School and had attended A.B. Technical College. He was involved with the Single Parents Without Partners Program at Biltmore Baptist Church. and was employed with Solar Tint Works 3M until his death. Mr. Ledford is survived by his mother Sandra, and step-father John Churchhill, of Asheville, and father James Ledford, of SC; two daughters, Shyne Breana, and Lillian Nicole; one son, Tilib Ledford; one sister, Kristie and husband Paul McCrane, of Clearwater, FL; and two brothers, Kelly and wife Ariel Ledford, Chad Ledford of Asheville and Jesse Ledford of Hendersonville. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Worley officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Green Hills Cemetery. His family will receive friends following the service on Monday evening at the funeral home.

  8. Robbie was an old dear friend to me. I had no idea and had not heard about his passing until yesterday when I ran into Chad at the store. He was such a wonderful person to those who knew him.We attended high school together. He will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and children.
