Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We at Beech Mountain Chalet Rentals are saddened by the news of Mr. Levine’s passing. We were very fortunate to have known Mr. and Mrs. Levine for many years. I remember him coming into the office when he was in his 80’s after skiing all day on Sugar Mountain. He sure was one strong and determined individual. My sympathies for Mrs. Levine and Bet. I hope your memories will offer you some comfort in the difficult days ahead.

  2. My deepest sympathy to all of Bob’s family. I have fond memories of their years here in Canton, and members of our St. Andrews Church family. Kay is Godmother to my grandson. God bless you all

  3. Kay, My…100 years! Having the two of you on the Front Right Pew at
Calvary was such a joy. And you became my partner on the Search Committee for Bob Johnson. Affectionately, The Rev. David W. Sailer, Retired Rector of Calvary Church, Fletcher.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. The pain of death can be overwhelming no matter the age. The Bible provides comfort during difficult times. We are promised at 1 Corinthians 15:26 that, very soon now, ‘death will be brought to nothing’. Then we have the prospect of being reunited with our loved one right here on Earth (John 5:28,29) without any wickedness (Psalms 37: 10,11). I hope this brings you comfort and hope.

  5. So sorry to hear that Mr. Levine has passed! So many wonderful memories as a child at St. Andrews in Canton.

  6. Kay, Robert Reid and Bet, I was so sad to learn of Bob passing. I have such great love for Kay and Bob. He was always a most kind gentleman. Gracious, softspoken, very active (skiing in his 80’s). I missed he and Kay once they moved to Arden from Canton. Kay may you know I love you with all my heart and my love to you, Robert Reid and Bet. Bob had long, life satisfied…..I will be keeping you in my prayers…. Love ….Janie Cox
