Diana and family, my heart was deeply saddened to learn of my friend Arch’s death. What a guy! I had the privilege of knowing him for many years in many walks of life. Our relationship was meaningful from the very beginning. We shared career efforts from his early days in marketing to his retirement from purchasing management. His success came from his awesome personality that built lasting relationships and his strong skill set in performance. We shared church program leadership where he, and you, with your marriage, brought such quality leadership and helped so many. Most importantly was our lifetime of mutual friendship in family life. Fond memories and stories in volumes sufficient for the writing of a book. My family and I enjoyed a wholesome life as we shared moments with you and Arch. God Bless you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
IT SEEMS THAT THE OLDER WE GET, THE YOUNGER OUR MEMORIES. I HAVE VERY FOND MEMORIES OF TRYING TO “OUTSPELL” ARCH AT NEWTON ELEMENTARY. WHO COULD “STAND UP” THE LONGEST! SO…………IT HAPPENS…………..I HAVE ONE LESS CLASSMATE TO HARRASS………….BUT NEVER TO FORGET!
WITH LOVE……………….
PIPPA CLARKE DOLEN

In loving memory of one of my American “uncles”. You are all in my thoughts.
Diana and family, I was so sorry to see that Arch had died. May God bless and comfort you all.

I knew Arch since David Millard and Lee Edwards high school. He was a wonderful person and a good friend. We played basketball together at Lee Edwards. We have kept in touch with each other at class reunions. I can’t believe such a fine person is no longer with us, but we know he is with the Lord upstairs. My wife, Jeanne Vaitekunas also knew him and she will also miss miss very much.
Arch and I have been friends for many years….beginning with church at First Baptist in the 50’s, then David Millard and Lee Edwards. So sorry to hear that he has passed away. We had lots of fun and great memories. I wish God’s peace to all his family.
I loved Arch like a brother and will miss our our long talks. What L.T.and Francis and others have said I can only say Amen. See you in Heaven my dear friend. Bill and MaryDot Waddell.
Arch, was a good man and will be missed by many.
Diana and family. I had the honor of being a supplier of Steelcase and working with Arch. His integrity was above all and he always viewed both sides for the best result. During the 9/11 terrorist attacks, we were meeting together. From then till today we spoke and caught up each year on 9/11. He’s just the guy who always made things better. He couldn’t have been a better friend and I know his family was his world. How lucky we were know him.
Diana and family, so sorry to hear about your huge loss but I will remember the stories about your husband. I hope you find peace and comfort.
Sorry for your loss.
Arch and I go way back-Newton Elementary ,David Millard Junior High and Lee Edwards High School. A friend forever and filled with great memories which will be with me forever.
God Bless
Stanley Cocke
Arch was a kind and gentle man. God blessed us with him being a friend. Prayers to the family during this difficult time.
Diana and Amy, I was so sorry to hear about Arch. I love you all and you both are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you find some comfort in knowing that dad was there to show him all the best heaven has to offer and greet him with open arms.
Diana we lift up you and your family in prayer. You all have been so much encouragement in our Christian walk and prayer lives. Like Barnabas…You have been our sons and daughters of encouragement.

David began first grade the same year at Newton in the same class. We also went to David Millard and Lee Edwards. He was one of the finest gentlemen I had the privilege to have known. He was a person of faith, integrity, gentility and character. I just learned of his death today. May the Lord continue to give comfort and peace even at this time.
