Robert Lee Elliott, 87, of Leicester, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
Born October 19, 1934 in Beaverton, Alabama, Robert was a son of the late James Albert and Kittie Abbout Elliott.
Mr. Elliott retired from the Metro-Dade Police Department. Robert had a deep love for law enforcement, and loved and cared for all animals. He also loved his children very much.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Murphy Elliott; daughter, Lydia Elliott (Alan Crisp); son, Jonathon Elliott; granddaughter, Nicole Luka; stepdaughter, Jennifer Gillion (Anthony Gillion); and step-granddaughter, Gia Gillion.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, at Green Hills Cemetery. Pastor Darrell Webb will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brother Wolfe Animal Rescue, www.bwar.org.
