Robert Matthew (Bob)Prince, Sr., 77, of 45 Vermont Avenue, Asheville, died Monday, September 8, 2003.
Mr. Prince was born in Washington, DC, and was a son of the late William J. and Clarice Louise Pasko Prince. He was also preceded in death by a brother William B. Prince. He was a Coast Guard veteran of WW II and was retired from K-Mart, Inc. and Kindred Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Tom “Tommie” McDade Prince; three sons, Robert Matthew Prince, Jr. of Edgewater, MD, Gary Alan Prince and his wife Pam of St. Petersburg, FL, and Daniel McDade Prince and his wife Leigh of Hendersonville; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother Edward Prince of Hagerstown, MD.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Friday at the Blue Ridge Rehabilitation Center with the Rev. Donald N. Welborn offiicating.
Memorials may be made to the Activities Fund of Blue Ridge Rehabilitation Center, 91 Victoria Road, Asheville, NC 28801.
