Robert S. Golden
August 13, 1917 ~ July 23, 1998
Rev. Golden was a Navy veteran of WW II and was retired after 34 years with the State Highway Bridge Department. He was former pastor of Caney Fork Baptist Church in Madison County.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wilma Jones Golden; daughters and their husbands, Jo Ann and Craig Tweed and Kathy and Larry Rhodarmer; sons and their wives, Wayne and Glenda Golden, Jerry and Shirley Golden, and Don A. and Melinda Golden; six grandchildren, Travis Tweed, Kris (and her husband Chris) Pack, Kevin Golden, Bryan Golden, Chad Golden, and Savannah Lynn Golden; and a great--granddaughter, Megan Pack.

Dear Daddy, How I miss you, and wish you were here. I love, and so miss you. Would like to see you once again sitting under the walnut tree at the house, working in the garden, mowing the hay, and reading the bible at night on the couch. Hearing you praying at your bedside made a great impact on me. I so looked upped to you. My morals and ethics came from you and mother. I so miss and love you. But God willing, I will meet you soon. Pray for me Daddy, I need all the help I can get. Love you!!!
