Bob was a awesome man. I had the privilege of working with him at the fire department. He helped me learn alot about the fire service. He worked with my father for many years. I was honored to call him my friend. He will be missed. I know he is with Jesus and is very happened
Bob and Lou were great godparents to my son Will Coin. I’ll always appreciate them and will miss them.
I worked many years with Bob at the Asheville Fire Marshal’s Office. He taught me a lot and was a great mentor and friend. He was a true gentleman and served this city with pride and honor. I sure will miss him.
What a great man. I had the honor of working with and around Bob while employed with the Ambulance Service in 1973/74. My dad, Pat also worked with Bob at the Fire Department and held him in high regard. Bob was a joy to be with and always a true gentleman and professional.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family:
I enjoyed working with Bob many years at the AFD. It was an honor just knowing him…
