Robert Simpson Harvey, 92, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 24, 2024.
A native of Union Co., SC, Robert was a son of the late John Joseph Simpson Harvey and Bessie Ruby Page Cromer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Robbie Hollifield Harvey; a sister, Velena Rhyne; two nieces, Maria Rhyne and Deborah Dill; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Harvey is survived by his daughter, Karen Evans (Patrick); son, Robert A. Harvey (Pat); six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Hampton Harvey (Florence).
His family will receive friends at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. on Tuesday, May 28th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 29th at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Ben Lippen Rd.
