Robert White Jenkins

Robert White Jenkins, 94, passed away peacefully Saturday July 20, 2013. He was the son of the late Raymond and Leila Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by his wife Hilda Brooks Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins is survived by step daughter Marilyn Treadway and husband Dennis; step granddaughter Amy Treadway Raymond and husband Langdon; brother Charles Jenkins and wife Monica; nephew Ken Jenkins and wife Marty; and niece Anne Gass. Robert was a World War II Navy Veteran and a member of Oak Hill United Methodist Church. Funeral services for Robert Jenkins will be held at 1:00pm Sunday July 21, 2013 at Oak Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Joseph Tarpley officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
