So sorry for the passing of your father, grandfather and great grandfather. We have so many precious memories of Roger, Barbara and you as our neighbors. You are in our prayer and thoughts as you face the future without your parents. They have left you rich legacy to live by and you were blessed with them as your parents. May God give you comfort and peace.
Prayers and love from Joe, Linda, Stephanie, Janelle and Jody Austin

  4. Ronald and Robert – I am so sorry to read about Roger’s passing. It has been a long time since I knew you guys at Charlie’s Place in Waynesville and how everyone had such fun there. I believe the last time I spoke to one of you was when one of your parents died. Mama always thought well you them and even rode with them to Virginia. That must have been when Roger was up there. My sister, Tootsie and her husband Ray Moody lived in Hampton. Robert, just wondering how long it has been since someone called you ‘Barrel’ – it was a cute nickname.
To Roger’s family, Ronald and Robert my condolences to you all.
    Sincerely, Mary Reeves Roper

  9. Just watched the video. Sitting here on your front porch looking out at this beautiful view thinking about you. After you called me when you were at the Hospice House, you were worried about me weed eating this bank. I told you not to worry about me just worry about yourself. I have thought about you many times as I sit rocking on this front porch so I looked you up this morning and saw your obituary. As I watched your video and your beautiful family I dedicate this house to you. I will always remember you. I will see you again one day in Heaven. Thank you again for this beautiful home
