Roger Dale Mathis, 63, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at his home.
A native of Buncombe County, Roger was a son of the late Lloyd Mathis and Geneva Ledford Mathis Cole. He had worked in the aerospace industry.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Howell Mathis; daughter, Katrina Anne Mathis Hopey (Thomas); son, Matthew Nicholas Mathis; grandchildren, Jacob Nicholas Mathis, Jonathan Riley Mathis, Isaac Benjamin Mathis and Baby Hopey; and two step-brothers, Dennis Cole and Darrell Cole (Delete),
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Green Hills Cemetery.

I am sad to hear of Roger s passing. Wish we could have stayed in comtact through the years, families seem to go in many different directions. Praying God sends comfort to his family.
