Ronald Edwin Shuford

Arden - Ronald Edwin Shuford, 43, of 147 Oak Terrace, died Sunday, October 24, 1999.
A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of Edwin P. Shuford of Arden and of the late Mary Bowles Shuford. He was a former resident of Myrtle Beach, SC and a Navy veteran of Vietnam. He was a former member of Skyland United Methodist Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two sons, Kevin and Kyle Bradshaw of Marshall; his sister and her husband, Pamela and Lex Murray of Gastonia; a nephew, Ryan Murray of Gastonia and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Rev. Arnie Corriher. Interment will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Volunteer Memorial Team.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 Tuesday at the funeral home on Long Shoals Road.
