Memories Timeline

  1. Sarah, Laura, Beth and grandchildren,
Gene will be truly missed by all of our family. Best neighbor you could have. I pray that God gives you all comfort during this time. We loved Gene and Betty and all of you.

    Dawnie and Jeff Pressley

  2. I have many memories of Uncle Gene but a very vivid one was when we were living in rural Ashburn, Virginia. Uncle Gene took care of us four kids while Mom went to the hospital to have #5, brother Jeff. I cried so hard when Dad called to tell us another boy had joined our family and Uncle Gene held me, let me cry, and gave me great comfort.

  3. Dear Peeler family, what sweet and fond memories we have had growing up in the best neighborhood, because we had such wonderful people being our neighbors. Your family has been a true blessing to know and we will miss Gene deeply, but he will be fondly remembered.
I know he is home and rejoicing with loved ones that I’m sure he has been longing to see.
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers in the next few days, weeks, for comfort in knowing Gods plan. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you have helped all of us make as we close this chapter in our lives.

  4. No words can describe the loss I feel for Uncle Genes passing..
Uncle Gene was the nicest and finest example of “Family” I’ve known in my lifetime. He was so welcoming every time I visited- he raised Beth, Sara, and Laura to be the same. He was kind to all he met, he listened and shared suggestions for whatever life threw at someone, he was always trying to help…again raising Beth, Sara, and Laura to be the same.
Uncle Gene was such a wonderful “human being” I will truly miss him.
I’m sending prayers to the family..
My heartfelt condolences to the entire family….Love Ginny
