Ronald “Ron” Keith Souther, 63, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Souther was born in Buncombe County to the late Harold “H.T.” Souther and Ruth Metcalf Souther.

Ron attended Long Shoals Baptist Church and worked as a hair stylist in Arden. He is survived by his aunt Clara Hayes and her husband, Francis Richard Hayes as well as many close friends and extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Shepherd Memorial Park.

  22. To Ron’s Aunt Clara & Uncle Richard, so sorry to hear about Ron’s passing. Have known him over 35 years. Saw him thru his mom’s passing and his stay at the burn ctr after. He always had a smile and that “dry” sense of humor.
    May he finally find peace with no pain.

  24. Ron came to my residence every two weeks to cut my hair and we exchanged plants. I will miss him. R.I.P. RON and hope that Doc, the cat and chickens are taken care off…

  25. Ron cut my sons’ hair for years. He was soft-spoken, and always kind and generous, and great with the boys. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed.

  26. My dear buddy Ron! I miss my best friend! I know you’re dancing with Jesus but I so miss you. I’m sitting here next to where we said goodbye at your funeral. So many people were here. You had so many that loved you buddy.
    I see no one has still made arrangements for a tombstone for you. I’m going to fix that for you buddy. I know you’re not here now but it’s a place I like to come and talk with you.
