Ronald Verlon Rash

Mr. Rash was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Betty Parham Rash, who died in 1990. He was formerly employed as a trouble shooter with Michelin Tire Manufacturing Company and also as a self-employed automobile salesman.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Verlon and Ruby Rash of Asheville; one daughter, Carolyn Rash Johnston and her husband Kenneth of Austin, TX; two sisters, Sandra Buckner and her husband Kenny of Leicester and Susan Johnson and her husband Andy of Asheville; and one step-brother, Glenn Hensley of Morganton.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Sprinkle officiating. Burial will be at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park, Building 1, Asheville, NC 28801, Mountain Area Hospice, PO Box 16, Asheville, NC 28802, or to Vista Care of SC, 22 Tindall Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.

I am so sorry to hear about Ronnie. I learned a short time ago from Larry Sprinkle that he was sick. He is with the Lord now and his healing is complete. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
