Resided in: Asheville, NC

RosaLee Ingle Reeves, 87, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Pisgah Manor Healthcare Center.

A native of Buncombe County, RosaLee was the daughter of the late Carvel and Virgie Crawford Ingle. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty seven years, John Tony Reeves and brother, Paul Russell Ingle.

Surviving is her daughter, Toni Buckner and husband Mickey; grandchildren, Michael Buckner (Beth) and Meredith Buckner; and great-grandchildren, Ella and Ava.

Mrs. Reeves retired from Square D and was a member of Starnes Cove Baptist Church. Her life was centered on her church and the love of her family. In a word, RosaLee was giving and her kindness drove all of her pursuits. Her passions included baking- be it butternut, fresh apple, or chocolate on chocolate cake, playing the piano, singing in the church choir, canning countless amounts of green beans, corn, and sauces, and attending every soccer game played by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren over the past thirty five years.

RosaLee was loving; she made sure those she loved were the center of her world. She was a daughter, a sister, a cherished wife, a loving mother, a best friend, and a sister in Christ. She will be remembered for how she loved; fully and unwaveringly, and she will be missed dearly.

The family wishes to express special appreciation to her lifelong friends and neighbors, David and Carol Livingston, her caregiver, Janice Bailey, special friends, Mickey and Beth Martin, and the staff of Pisgah Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, at Starnes Cove Baptist Church, with Pastors William Moore and Charlie Sams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Starnes Cove Baptist Church Building Fund, 149 Starnes Cove Rd., Asheville, NC 28806.
