Rosetta Crawford

Asheville - Rosetta Crawford, 88, died Sunday, December 4, 2005, at the Universal Health Care Center, Fletcher. Mrs. Crawford was born in Haywood County and was a daughter of the late James and Mary Etta Pless Crawford. She was a retired nuse’s aide and caregiver. Surviving are three daughters, Mary Florence Stuman, Virginia Parras and Nellie Mae Welch, and three sons, Lloyd Stewart, Ray Stewart, and Leon Stewart; one sister Virgie Crawford of Waynesville; thirteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Family Church, 671 Sand Hill Road, Asheville, with the Revs. Robert L. Jackson and Charlie Sams officiating. Private interment will be at a later date. The family wil receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made in her name to Four Seasons Hospice 1825 Asheville Highway P.O.
