Guestbook

  1. Irene, Richard and Family,

Sorry to here of your mother’s passing. I remember going home from church with you back in the 60’s and what a great meal she would prepare. Mrs. Rosie was a very sweet lady. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Jean, I think we probably went to school together many years ago. We attended Glady Elementary, Pisgah Elementary, Candler High School and Enka High School. I lived on Lower Glady Fork Road. I see that your mother’s husband’s name was Hoy. Your father used to plow gardens and mow hay for us. If I have the correct Jean, please accept my sincere condolences. It has been at least 55 years since we have seen each other.

  3. May your troubled heart find peace and comfort in the knowledge that you are never alone. May God’s presence be with you during this difficult time and give you rest. He is ever aware of your circumstances and ready to be your strength and grace. Cast all your cares on Him. He understands and He loves you.

Many years have gone by since I had seen Hoy and Rosie. I loved them both. They were really nice, down-to-earth people and made me feel so welcome in their home.

Not too many months ago (it seems) I misdialed a number I was calling, and guess who answered the phone? Rosie! Her voice sounded so familiar. I asked if she minded to tell me her name, and explained my error in dialing. I told her who I was and we had the greatest chat of times gone by. When I started to hang up she told me to make my mistake again and call her sometime.

May God truly bless each of you.

  4. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family in the homegoing of your Grandmother. By all the stories that you’ve shared with us I know how much of an inspiration she was to the family. Women of her caliber & character will be greatly missed. Heaven is in celebration of her arrival as they now cheer us to the finish line.
    Yours in Christ,
    Jack,Angelia,Nicole & Carmen

  5. Dear Irene and Richard, Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your loss. May you be blessed with wonderful memories and may you find comfort in these memories. Blessings to you and to your family. Mission Belles Alumni
