In loving memory of Ross Joseph Giangrasso, 67, who passed away Thursday, January 13, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital. Born March 14, 1937, in New Jersey, he was a loving and caring husband, father and Pop-Pop and is survived by his devoted wife Joan, son Ross, daughters Rhea and Renee, eight grandchildren, Anthony, Chrystine, Bryan, Gianna, Shayne, Gemma, Ginabella and Alyssa, and a sister Joyce Taylor. Mr. Giangrasso received his Masters Degree and Specialist Degree in Education from Barry University and dedicated his life to teaching children at OJUS Elementary School in Miami, FL for 39 years. His generosity and sense of humor will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. He touched our lives. “You will remain in our hearts forever.” A funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m. Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Mr. Art Kingsley and the Rev. James King officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

  1. Dear Dad, Not a day goes by that I don’t miss you and wish you were here with us all. I miss you soooo much and soo does Bryan, Chrystine, Bryan. and Shayne. I know you are in a much better place.It’s just sooo hard with out you. I know you are with us all the time. As a child growing up I couldnt wait to get to come over your house you and Uncle Ross were always so good to me and was always there when I needed someone to talk to.   11. Dear Joan and Family, I was deeply sorry to hear of Ross’s passing. I was out of town and only returned last night, Monday the 17th. When I listened to Pam’s message, I felt so much sympathy for you and your extended family. May you find comfort in the beautiful memories that you have stored in your hearts. Those memories will be lasting treasures that will live on and on. They will bring you laughter, smiles, tears, and joy. Cherish each emotion and Ross will never leave your hearts.
