Roy T. Frady

Arden - Roy T. Frady, 88, of Sherwood Forest Road, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 13, 2003, in a Henderson County hospital. A native of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Luther and Emma Hare Frady and husband of the late Evelyn Bowen Frady, who died in 1998. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Longshore and three brothers, Ervin, Arthur and Grover Frady. Mr. Frady was a member of Fletcher United Methodist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired employee of American Enka. He is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Miller of Arden and Etta Fowler of Fletcher and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in Fletcher United Methodist Church conducted by the Revs. Ed Hillman and Rob Blackburn. Interment will follow in Calvary Churchyard. His family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 Monday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian where Mr. Frady will remain until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
