Ruby Lee Stagio, 73, of Flat Rock, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Emerald Ridge Health Care.
A native of Buncombe Co., Ruby was a daughter of the late Johnnie Andrew Staigo and Inez Nola Phillips Staigo.
Surviving are her son, David Eugene Staigo, sisters, Helen Cutshall (Orvile) and Mary Joe King, and her brother, John Alan (Pat).

So saddened to learn that Ruby has passed away ! It’s sad that our families are so spread out and no longer communicate . My love and prayers go out to Aunt Mary Jo , Helen and John Alan and Ruby’s son David ! Ruby was always so sweet and kind to me . We all are going to meet our Lord when it’s our time and I just want to be ready as well as all of the ones I know and love ❤️ !

Ruby was a sweet, kind woman who cared about others. She loved to smile, laugh and sing. She loved God
and one day soon I believe she will be called to new life when Christ returns for His faithful people. Our church family will miss her. My prayers are with her family and may each of us be ready when Christ returns.
