Ruby Piercy Turbyfill

A native of Elijay, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late A.A. and Stella Julia Banks Piercy and wife of the late Morris D. Turbyfill, who died
in December 1997.  She was also predeceased by a brother, Herbert H. Piercy in 1977.  She was a member of the Emma Methodist Church.  She retired from Square D in 1985 with 27 years service and was a member of the Square D Retirees Club.  Mrs.
Turbyfill moved to Asheville 60 years ago from Georgia.  She loved her grandson, reading, gardening and people.  She will be remembered as a giving person.

She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Pam and Jack G. Justice of Asheville; a grandson,
Matthew Adam Justice; sister, Mary R. Patterson of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Jack L. Piercy and his wife Betty of Belleview, Florida and
Robert Glenn Piercy of Asheville.

Services will be 11 am Thursday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Bigham
officiating.  Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
