Ruby Taylor Barnes

Ruby Taylor Barnes, 72, of 14 Rash Road, Asheville, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at Memorial Mission Hospital. Mrs. Barnes was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Clyde Taylor and Zona Taylor Crook. She was married to the late Garland Barnes. Surviving are three daughters, Linda Hyde, Wanda Evans, and Regina Rice, and three sons Allan Barnes, Ricky Barnes and Ronnie Barnes, all of Asheville; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one brother, Allan Taylor of Asheville. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Riverview Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. David Jones officiating. Her family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
