Ruth Elizabeth Lodato

Ruth Elizabeth Lodato, 91, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at Park Ridge Hospital in Fletcher. Mrs. Lodato was born in Jamaica Queens, New York and is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ralph Lodato. She is also survived by her son, Paul Lodato and his wife, Susan, of Swannanoa; a sister, Elva Browne of Florida and a niece, Donna Balewitz and her husband, Michael, of Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, December 2, 2011 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with the Pastor Christopher Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, 31 Glendale Avenue, Asheville, NC 28803.
