Samuel Allen Yanez, 21, of Waynesville, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021.
Born June 23, 2000 in Hendersonville, NC, Samuel was a son of Sinforiano Yanez Perez (wife Sandra Eiler) and Valisa Yanez Baron (husband Santos Baron Gutierrez).
He is also survived by his sisters, Rosario Lovos-Diaz (husband Alfredo David Lovos-Diaz), and Cecilia Adriana Yanez-Garcia (husband Sergio Garcia); brother, Darth Dakota Burris; nieces and nephews, Yeretzi, Metztli, Brantley and Krista; step-brother, Osvaldo; step-sister, Xochitl; and God-sister, Isabel.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday in the Patton avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Bethlehem Community Cemetery in Old Fort, NC.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, prior to the service.
Donations may be made to the Bethlehem Community Cemetery Fund, 656 Old Fort Sugar Hill Rd, Old Fort, NC 28762.
