She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Partain Blalock and her husband Barry, and three grandchildren, Lucas David Blalock, Elizabeth Corinne Blalock, Zachary Nathan Blalock and his wife, Maya. A memorial service will be held at Skyland United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends for 30 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Skyland United Methodist Church or to Asheville Buncombe County Meals on Wheels. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
